Jason often stars in my journal. Here are some pecuuuuliar characteristics of his:

• is another geek from Waterloo (the kind only an advanced-mathie can be)
• has big hair (and I mean BIG hair - rivals Dolly Parton)
• needs to learn the time when ATMs close (but that's a story in itself..)
• lives in a hick town about 2 hours away
• doesn't like losing to girls
• has a smaller apartment than me

David is yet another Waterloo Co-op, and he's working for Epson in Sapporo. Him and I go way back (well, as way back as I get) to frosh week, when I met him at a kegger and he pretended he was a mute. I didn't believe him and was poking fun at him, when it suddenly hit me that he wasn't joking at all, and I'd been so cruel! I spent the next 10 minutes in agony over how mean I had been, when the guy suddenly says something to his friend. That's Dave for ya. Anyway, sometime in between the ke gger and now, we went out for over a year, and now we're friends. I owe my job here completely to him actually. Anyway, Dave was visiting in Tokyo one weekend in August, and for that story, go here.

Simon is ANOTHER Co-op (gee, we're everywhere!), and he's working for Epson in the Hirooka office. But I see Simon every once in awhile because he comes to Tokyo a lot to visit his parents, who live here, along with his sisters. He used to liv e in Japan himself until he was 12 or 13 or something like that, so he speaks Japanese, uh, fluently. His mom's Japanese as well. Anyway, I like his taste in music (same as mine - everything) so we trade CDs everytime we see eachother. Coool.

HuaYue, Geoff, Go, Martin, Robert, Natasha and Marie are also Co-ops working for Epson.
