Celebration! Tonight I touched my toes (legs straight) for the first time since I was - what - 8 or something. Finally! I have been the laughing stock of the flexible-world for way too long now. And I've been stretching 3 times a day for the last 8 months or so... I've progressed from being only able to reach my knees (seriously) to the toes. Then gain, today is probably just lucky? Hm. Well I have a bet going with Jon which involves mass amounts of ice cream in proportion to how far I can str etch when I get back... that's my motivation...
Lotsa work. FC is on Monday so I was 14 hours in the office yesterday and 10 today. But I'll probably take a few days off next week to make up for it!!

So today was nice n' relaxing at work, and I'm taking my built-up overtime holidays tomorrow, Wednes, and Fri, cooool. Tonight I biked over to Hachioji to meet Wakako-chan - but she never came. Actually I just got off the phone with her - we got th e times mixed up; I thought 6:30 and she thought 7:30. Ah well, so we'll try again next week instead.
Anyway after I got stood up (hee hee) I decided that I'd leave my bike in Hachioji (parked in the sea of bikes in front of the 24-hour Denny's) and walk home. I don't know why, I just felt like it. Took me 'bout an hour and a half. But it was fun! I think I'm going a bit crazy though, or I'm getting too used to the Japanese-way -- I was in a good mood and singin', full-out - for over half the way home. Just after I would shut myself up - oop, there I'd go again. Luckily I was on a dark bike pat h most of the time so noone could really see where that gawdawful racket was coming from!!! Haha.
Now, it's on to C&O. C&O350 now (I'm moving up in the world!). I want to finish the course this week if I can, but I dunno.

Woah talk about windy! I could barely *open my door* the resistance was so great!! Not exactly the best of days to choose to inaugaurate shorts into my running... dumb dumb dumb dumb... Oh well. it was nice and sunny to compensate. I like being o
n holidays during the week, it's pretty deserted out. Not like I was out doing anything interesting... one word: C&O. Or is that 3 words? Whatever. I was planning on picking up my bike in Hachioji, but I'm too lazy. Maybe my tires will be punctured!

Hahaha, my extra-loud alarm clock seems to be broken, and my travel alarm clock is out of batteries, and my timer watch's alarm button isn't working - I only discovered all this about 15 mins ago, so I'm trying to figure out how to wake up tomorrow.
I have this one watch that I bought for $3 in Jakarta that I *never* wear, so I thought I would just take its batteries (which aren't dead yet) and put them in my travel alarm clock. But since the watch has one of those steel backs that mere mortals can
't open, I thought I would smash through the glass on the front (as I said, $3 watch) and get the battery out that way.. but once I smashed the glass (which took some ingenuity involving a plastic bag and hairbrush) I found out that the face is steel too!
Hahahaha, so much for that. And the last solution was to actually figure out how to use the timer on my 3D stereo - but I've tried that numerous time with not luck (the instruction booklet is in Japanese), so I didn't think I would figure it out but I
did!! Finally! What a waste of a watch.
Oh and I picked up my bike - still there, but there were a couple of warnings attached to it! hahaha.
