The J-Files: Episode Forty-Six

Friday March 27, 1998: 10pm

Yeeah, so Jason and Satsuki got here - they brought ice cream and dessert!! Cool. So we chowed down then headed out to find a print club machine to do one final print club. That was a bit of a hike, but we found a place that was still open and stu ff. Neat. Then, back to the apartment. We sat up chattin' for awhile while Jason unpacked and repacked his backpack - his only piece of luggage for the next month... then, sleep. And next thing I knew, it was 8:30, and Jason and Satsuki were gone! Lik e, I knew they'd be leaving at 4:30am, but I was absolutely positive I would wake up - they musta been sooo quiet. Oh well.

Yeah so today we went to Shinjuku. We found *the* *coolest* music store, wow. I mean, not as in CD/tape music, but instruments and stuff. They had the neatest keyboards, wow. I decided that I just had to buy a keyboard when I got enough money. B ut THEN, we found the digital drum sets and mann, those are SO COOL! You can plug them into headphones and stuff, and you play on these pads that make different drum sounds - and you can change the sounds of the drums to anything in the data bank, oh wow . So then I decided that I'd just have to get one of those! Oh, if I had money!! They had 3 sets, so we each played on one for a long time. We were in that store for probably 2 hours. Oh, and they had the nicest guitars - another thing I want. And A LL this pnano music. It was like musician heaven.

Oh, and another store we went to was Tokyu Hands, and they have this awesome selection of chopsticks. We spent so much time there trying to pick some out. I could NOT decide! So I ended up getting 5 different pair, instead of sets.

We also walked a bit around the east side (business side) of Shinjuku, and then back to the apartment to try to cook some split pea soup...

Man this sucks. Here I am at work, trying to figure out why JavaBeans refuses to work on my computer, and I just don't know why! But I *do* know that if I don't figure it out then I can't write a work term report on it... how annoying! I've alread y put lots of hours into this, and I'd rather not have to give up because of my super-accident prone computer. Argh!! I'll keep on trying, but in shifts. I've been taking breaks to update my webpage, and attempt to catch up on my very behind< /U> email. So far, it's not working..

Oh, but when I got in here there was a note for me from Hirabayashi-san that says "Slide Problem Only Remaining!" - which means that I have exactly *one bug* !!!!! Cool!!!!

And THEN, the sakura (cherry blossoms) are jeeeest starting to bloom!! I can't wait. And all these other flowers are out - the tulips have bloomed, and the violets, along with numerous unidentifiable ones too, which is cool cool cool!!
