Dave and the squid. Dave, and the ultimately ooogley squid. Ok, so you'd think this was taken in some exotic place, like, say China, where they probably eat squid on a regular basis. But no, this was taken in Ottawa, of all places, at that turney resta
urant at the top of the Holiday Inn. Ah yes, Easter Brunch with my sis, Dave, Jon, and Andre, back when Jon and I were livin' in Ottawa doing the work-thing, in the winter, which was cold, but that's another story, for another picture, undoubtedly.
Levon and I with oh-so-funky, gotta-wear-em glasses! Just another day in the life of A&L (Alexa n' Levon, for those of you who haven't had the blessing of seeing the two of us party together), where things are never as boring as they should be. Ok, exce
pt for at midterm time, when both of us can be found lying on our respective sections of the COUCH, complaining about how much we have to study. Usually though, the couch is reserved for such things as watching TV, eating K.D., or NACHOS (yummy), or PIZZ
A (yummy too), but not meat, since the two of us are veggies. I've gotten away from the sunglasses haven't I. Well, let me just say that THEY DON'T BELONG TO US!!!
And here's one of my awesome friend Patrick, who's not only a fabulous friend, but also a genius. Of course, he never likes it when I say that... Anyways, this was taken when he was putting in candles in a bday cake for my very first surprise birthday par
ty! And boy was it ever a surprise cuz it was in DECEMBER (btw, that's a good 4 months away from the actual birthday)
And this is Katherine (but you can just call her Mitt). She's one of my oldest friends - I've known her since Gr. 9, when we used to spend hours and hours on the phone, talking about nothing really,
as Gr. 9 girls tend to do. We'd walk to school together, and go skiing all the time, and we were on the swim team, and all this stuff. And the rest of our time we'd spend fighting, cuz that's another thing that Gr. 9 girls like to do ;-) Well, now she'
s all grown up (heee har dee har) and is at Bishop's, studying something I undoubtedly don't like. That's what great about Mitt, we can't really agree on much, so it's so much fun to argue with her!
Jeremy (hee hee). Flash back to Gr. 12. Um, what exactly is he doing here, I dunno. Not his usual pose, as far as I can remember. Ah, I think he was dancing to "Secret", you know, by Madonna,
cuz he thought the drum was so cool. I remember, we used to try to imitate it using hands and knees, ya know, the hard way. Anyway, I believe this photo was taken when 5 or 6 of us went up to Nadja's beach house for a couple of days near the end of scho
ol. Sure, they were actually all finished (lucky IB bums that they were).. and I still had class... but hey, this was the beach! Class could surely wait ;-)
And this is Dave's "paper" car after our little run in with a snowbank... this is what you get when you have 4 crazed ski bums (Dave, Andre, Levon and I, of course!), not much sleep, too much "blue drink", and lots of Bad Religion all at once... heh.
